Dr. Karl. A. Lamers MdB was elected as ATA President in 2008. Dr. Lamers is also the Deputy Chairman of the Defence Committee of the German Parliament and the Vice-President of the NATO Parliamentary Assembly.
Mr. Giuseppe Belardetti
Mr. Giuseppe Belardetti is Secretary General since February 2013. He has been with the ATA since January 2011 as Programs Director. Prior, he was Program officer at the Italian Atlantic Committee. Mr. Belardetti holds a Master Degree in International Studies from LUISS University and is a PhD candidate on Global Studies. He was President of the Youth Atlantic Treaty Association from October 2007 to December 2010. He speaks Italian, English, Spanish and French. Mr. Jean Paul Preumont
Jean-Paul R. Preumont was elected Treasurer of the Atlantic Treaty Association in May 2011. Before taking on this function, he was Director of the Centre for studies (1976 - 1991) and Vice-President (1991 – 2011) of the Euro-Atlantic Association of Belgium. Since 2003, he is also Chairman of the Jury of the Euro-Atlantic Award of the Belgian Minister of Foreign Affairs.
Amb. Rastislav Káčer
Rastislav Káčer was elected the president and chairman of the Executive Board of the Slovak Atlantic Commission (SAC) in July 2008 after a five year term in Washington DC as the ambassador of the Slovak Republic to the USA. Prior to this engagement, he worked for 16 years on various positions for the Slovak government.

Mr. Troels Frøling was elected Vice President of the Atlantic Treaty Association in February 2013. Before taking on this function, and in the course of his career, Mr. Frøling held many distinguished positions.

Jacques Rosiers has been elected Vice President in February 2013. Honorary Aide to the King, he is a former Assistant Chief of Staff for Strategic Affairs (ACOS Strategy), 2003 onwards and National Armament Director (NAD), 2005 onwards.
Kristin Durant

Prior to this, she has been Political Vice President of Denmark’s largest student union, Djøf Students, as well as Vice President of YATA Denmark. Kristin works as P.A. for a Danish entrepreneur and political consultant, and is studying Public Administration and Global Studies at Roskilde University. Kristin has a background in International Business and Politics at Copenhagen Business School and Niels Brock Business College. Mr. Arnaud Jansen
Arnaud J. D. Jansen is from Brussels, Belgium. He is attorney at law, member of the Brussels bar since 1990. He was elected as Legal Adviser and Counsellor in May 2007. He is member, ex officio, of the Bureau, the Council and the General Assembly of the A.T.A.
