On March 8th, the Atlantic Treaty Association, in cooperation with the Youth Atlantic Treaty Association, hosted an expert panel discussion entitled "Women and Security: Leaders, Targets, and Activists". 

On the 20th February 2012, Troels Frøling, Secretary General of the Atlantic Treaty Association, Was invited to speak to an assembly of promenant policy makers, politicians, and atlanticists, organised at  Aydin University in Istanbul. 

As part of a Study tour involving visits and consultations with both NATO and SHAPE, 20 young opinion formers from the Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia, and from Montenegro will hold talks with the Atlantic Treaty Association about a range of issues facing Atlanticisim and youth engagement today.

On October 11th the Atlantic Treaty Association organised the 2nd NATO Ministerial Debriefing

The Debriefing focused upon the policy outcomes of the recent Meeting of NATO Ministers of Defense, where the Alliance Members discussed, among others topics, the mission in Libya, the situation in Afghanistan, missile defense and command structure reform.
