10th Anniversary of the Atlantic Council of Serbia

On September 15th, the Atlantic Council of Serbia celebrated its 10th Anniversary, with a Ceremony in Belgrade.
The Celebrations were opened by ATA President, Dr. Karl A. Lamers, which delivered a Lecture at Belgrade Megatrend University on "The Atlantic Alliance in a changing world".
The Atlantic Council of Serbia has been a member of the Atlantic Treaty Association since October 3rd 2001, when the ATA Council unanimously voted in favour of ATA expansion to this crucial country in the Western Balkans.
A Ceremony was organized in Belgrade to celebrate the event and it saw the participation of Dr. Stefanie Babst, NATO Deputy Assistant Secretary General for Public Diplomacy and Mr. Pavel Fisher, Political Director of the Ministry of Foreign Affaris of Czeck Republic (NATO contact Point Embassy). ATA representatives from Albania, Croatia, Denmark, Fyro - Macedonia, Greece, Italy, Slovakia, Slovenia, Montenegro and United Kingdom will participate to the Ceremony.
